Leopard.....

As everyone knows leopard is one of my favorite prints, I have scarves, cardigans, etc. I wanted to display my cardigan (previously styled another way) with my dress from Fashion Nova because the contrast of the high low affect. I didn't realize how my dress is high in the front and low in the back and my cardigan is the opposite (truly perfect match). I also decided to do a head wrap (didn't feel like doing my hair... lol!) and I believe this all came together perfectly.

The Bold and Beautiful.....

For this post I decided to step out of my comfort zone and wear a bodysuit. I have always wanted one, of course I have had my insecurities because my body isn’t necessarily on point.  The reason I actually bought the bodysuit in the first place was because I had an 80"s themed birthday party I was going to. So I went to a local shop call Gussini's and found the perfect one (only $14.99). When I tried it on I was like now I see why people love these, it was comfortable and it's a nice sweater like material. I paired it with this camouflage bomber because besides leopard it is one of my favorite prints. So I can't say this enough step out of the box and take a chance because you will never know what or how something will turn out.

Black and White....

Fall has finally arrived!!!!! Time to bring out the scarves, leather jackets, and the booties. So before it got too cold I chose to do this simple, but easy look and whats more simple than black and white.

Fall is kinda here.....

So fall has been playing tricks on us. One day its cold and the next it feels more like summer. So one day I took advantage of the summery day. Lately I have been noticing a trend of dresses used as shirts and I fell in love with it. This is definitely a trend that will save you money because you can use a dress  for two different ways of styling. A couple of months ago my best friend (Ashley) and I went to Burlington's and I found this little number hidden between some clothes on the rack. Now originally I had pick this out for my friend but she said it was more of my style. As soon as I tried it on I fell in love and I had to give her props she was right.

Thankful, Grateful, Blessed.....

Before I cut my hair I had my daughter take photos of me. I had just did my hair in some two strand twist (protective style) because I was still trying to decide whether I wanted to cut my hair. After, work I ask my daughter if she would like to take pictures for me. She was so excited and said we should take some by the gazebo. My daughter has an eye and she's very talented.

Reflecting....

So recently I have been taking some time to reflect on my life. I have been through many ups and downs throughout my life.  Starting from when I was born up until now. Sometimes I wished that I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, but then I realized that I wouldn't be the person I am today. I am a person who has so much to be thankful for such as my family, life lessons, and most of all that I am a child of God. Now I'm no saint, but I do know that at the end of the day he has my back. The bible says "He will never leave you nor forsake you" and this is conformation. I don't mean to get religious on you, but this is my truth and I stand in my truth. Looking back at all I've been through I just know he has a plan for me.
