Reflecting....

So recently I have been taking some time to reflect on my life. I have been through many ups and downs throughout my life.  Starting from when I was born up until now. Sometimes I wished that I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, but then I realized that I wouldn't be the person I am today. I am a person who has so much to be thankful for such as my family, life lessons, and most of all that I am a child of God. Now I'm no saint, but I do know that at the end of the day he has my back. The bible says "He will never leave you nor forsake you" and this is conformation. I don't mean to get religious on you, but this is my truth and I stand in my truth. Looking back at all I've been through I just know he has a plan for me.

Hamilton Wedding....

On June 16, 2017 we attended the Hamilton wedding. The wedding took place at a very gorgeous place in Lanham, MD called La Fontaine Bleue. So when I first learned that they were to be wed I said of course I would be there because those two share such a special bond that only they would understand.You know me I had to find the perfect dress. I wanted something different from my last dress so I went on the look for something form fitting. I went to one of my favorite websites Fashion Nova. I first fell in love with this peach colored dress, but when I went back on the site they didn't have it anymore. I decided to look for something else and to my surprise I fell in love with another dress named "Confession of my Love" , but i soon realized that it had a deep v-neckline (my boobs don't sit all the way up...lol!). I said to myself I believe Fashion Nova has the perfect bra for this and its called the "Simply U Bra". This bra is use specifically for when you need to wear v-neck clothing items. First of all let me just tell you this dress was so comfortable and it fit like a glove. The only thing was that it comes with a slip made into the dress and I have a butt so it kept rising up,but other than that it was perfect. I paired my dress with my Alex and Ani jewelry and my nude heels from Steve Madden. The wedding was so wonderful and we danced the night away.

Gojane.....

This past Saturday the husband and I attended a wedding of our dear friends Ashley and Brian. From day one they have always had a place in our hearts, so when we heard they were getting married we couldn't miss it for the world.The ceremony was traditional and was very heart felt. The location was at Argyle Country Club in Silver Spring,MD and might I say it was so nice. I had already start looking for a dress once she told me some time last year. I immediately started going to my favorite websites to look for something that would stand out and also something comfortable (because I like to dance). I had been eyeing this wonderful dress from GoJane  . Once I saw this dress I thought it was so perfect because the wedding was at a country club and what better than a high low gown. I can admit I thought it would come off looking like a prom dress, but it just seemed so perfect. Okay so for those who don't normally shop at GoJane you better get with it. The shipping is good, the delivery actually came before it said it would, and the product is of good quality. I would recommend GoJane to any of my fashionistas who are looking for something that's not going to break the bank.

Great Gatsby Party...

The weekend before this past weekend was the first event for E.S.F. . It was for a very fabulous forty-five year old who just wanted something low key but still nice. We said "What says fabulous at forty-five" so Sharday, one of our event planners said "Great Gatsby" . We immediately fell in love with this theme and went to work. While the party was going on we also played "Who killed the Billionaire?". There were clues that the guest had to look for in order to guess who the killer was. So the event was a success and we had so much fun hosting and putting things together.
